Care Quality & CQC Compliance

How does Remconex support CQC inspections?

Remconex is a practical tool for evidencing Person Centred Care. By facilitating bespoke engagement sessions, care homes can demonstrate the high-quality, personalised emotional support that inspectors look for under the 'Effective’ and ‘Responsive’ key questions.


Is the service suitable for Dementia and End of Life care?
Yes. The platform is built to support residents living with dementia and in palliative care. The familiar visual cues aim to reduce agitation, promote calm, and maintain vital emotional connections during sensitive stages of care.

Operational Delivery

Does this require additional staff training or admin?
No. Our platform is designed to be quick and easy to use for care teams. Families upload content directly to our secure platform, and sessions are automatically generated. Your team simply handles playback, requiring no technical or editing skills.


How is the service delivered?
A 30-minute personalised session is ready for digital playback within 48 hours of upload. We also offer a "plug-and-play" USB package delivered within 3–5 working days.


Can we manage multiple sites?
Yes. The platform is designed for scalability across multiple homes. Group-level managers can oversee implementation with ease, while the ability to export engagement data from each home’s portal allows for simple, consistent auditing of care quality across multiple sites.

Data Security & GDPR

How is resident and family data protected?
Data security is our priority. All media is handled in strict accordance with UK GDPR. Because families upload directly to our secure platform, care teams are not required to manage, store, or handle personal media files, significantly reducing the data liability for the provider.


What happens to files after the session is created?
The completed video file remains available for download for 30 days. Following this period, the file is permanently deleted from our servers to ensure ongoing data privacy.

Technical & Facilities

Does the home require high-speed internet?
An active internet connection is only required for the initial download. Once saved to a device or provided via USB, sessions can be played offline, making it ideal for older buildings or areas with inconsistent Wi-Fi.


Which devices are compatible?
The service is highly flexible. Sessions can be played on standard televisions, laptops, tablets, or any compatible media player, allowing for both group sessions and bedside one-to-one engagement.

Account Management

How do subscriptions work?
Pricing is based on the number of registered residents within each home. Each resident's family contact can create unlimited video files, providing predictable costs and excellent value for money.


Can we amend or cancel our plan?
Subscriptions are managed directly within the platform. Plans can be amended or cancelled at any time, subject to your specific commercial agreement.
